Niko Princen studied art at Hogeschool van de Kunsten, Utrecht and at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His practice concentrates around the internet, wherein the human interaction and (mis)communication through the computer play a role. Princen works in front of the screen as well as behind, sometimes melting the two together.

This is an on-going series. Each image is one of a kind. The image is a photograph from my computer screen with the text IMG_4320.JPG which is also the exact name of the photo file on my phone. I first check which number comes before I take the picture. The title is the same as the filename.
